Wow...

Wow...I realized that today is the anniversary of my having been in Japan for five months. That's insane! I'm almost halfway through already. *cries* And I speak no Japanese! Oh, oh! Except last night, when Aimee was trying to sleep, I managed to combine her higher knowledge with mine and figured out how to say "Watashi no ichigo wa koko desu." And yes, that means "My strawberry is here." Hehehe...or, wait wait! "Watashi no ichigo doko desu ka?" Which would be "Where is my strawberry?" And "Ohayo!" (good morning), and "Konnichiwa!" (good day" and "Konbonwa!" (good evening). And no...I still haven't figured out "good night" and "your welcome." Those two phrases will plague me until I leave, I think.

Welcome (as in you're welcome?) I think you can still say Doomo arigatou?

Um. After someone says "Thank you" in one of its forms, you can answer either "ie, ie" or "ie, ie, dou itashimashite" or just dou itashimashite.

o_O Or at least that's what my Japanese prof has us do in class.

Duuuuh... I only watch anime and I know that. :)

*love love love* You'll have to come home and watch anime with me and I'll reteach you important phrases. Like "I will kill you." :)

Dude, I know "I will kill you!" Who could ever forget that? Hmm...maybe I should pull that one out more often.

And thanks for all the Japanese lessons...I do know how to say "Good night" and "You're welcome," I just can't seem to keep them in my head for longer than fifteen minutes. :)

Well Mandy as long as you are doing all right even if you don't know that much Japanese you are fine.I just thought when you come back you speake to me in Japanese.Love you lots Schatz.
